Coastal Sands & Co. Sunscreen is a 100% natural, reef-safe formula that combines broad-spectrum non-nano Zinc oxide powder with organic Coconut, Almond, Red Raspberry Seed, and Carrot Seed and Vitamin E Oils to create a toxin-free level of protection, whilst nourishing the skin. It does not run and sting eyes so children will love this sunscreen.

Its very concentrated, the non-sticky formula appears white on the application; however, it will rub in clear like a moisturising lotion. Remember, we do not use fillers, so a little goes a long way.

This zero-waste sunscreen is available in two different sizes that come in plastic-free, reusable metal tin packaging.

Tip: Keep the tin level in your bag whilst at the beach, keep it in the fridge/ cooler bag for a firmer consistency.

Use & care

Apply 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply at least every 2 hours and after 40 minutes of swimming or sweating, and immediately after towel drying. Use a small amount and apply gently. If it looks white or chalky after applying, rub it in more until it’s clear. Clean the rim of the tin after a few uses.

Naturally good for you

• APPROXIMATE SPF30 protection factor, non-micronised Zinc powder will not penetrate the lower dermis or enter the bloodstream – this product is human tested and has not been lab tested for official SPF factor.

• Non-Nano Zinc Oxide is a natural protection against UVA and UVB light rays, it is known for preventing burns and aging caused by sunlight. Also, an effective anti-inflammatory, it promotes the body’s natural healing process.

• Virgin Coconut Oil is known for its antibacterial and moisturising properties keeping skin clean and hydrated.
• Almond Oil is rich in vitamins A and E, reducing skin irritations while protecting your skin from free radicals – keeping it soft, smooth, and nourished.
• Shea Butter for luscious texture and high-fat content to deeply hydrate, tackle blemishes and smooth the signs of aging.
• Carrot Seed Oil high level of antioxidants, hydrates your skin-moisture rich properties, anti-aging, stimulates the growth of new cells and tissues, UV blocking agent, and is rich in vitamin A and E.

• Red Raspberry Seed Oil is an anti-inflammatory, encourages new collagen growth and cell repair, natural SPF, reduces the signs of skin damage, antioxidant, vitamin A and E, reliefs eczema and psoriasis.
• Vitamin E Oil reduces irritation, is anti-inflammatory and promotes skin cell production. Also, an antioxidant and natural moisturiser.
• Beeswax is an anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial, that combats acne, soothes skin, and calms redness. It creates a natural barrier to protect skin and lock in moisture.

Disclaimer:

Sun safety is always important, sunscreen is only one part of sun protection. Wear UV protective clothing, hats and sunglasses when exposed to the sun, and stay in the shade where possible. Please keep in mind – light-skinned or sensitive skin, if you have been in the sun for a very long time, the sun can be strong, so make sure to re-apply often and use a thicker layer for first-time usage.
